As you know, saying I like chillies is an understatement, and I would help support anything that boosts the UK chilli industry.
Although the current government are claiming that they are encouraging small businesses, Phil & Kay at the Dartmoor Chilli Farm, who I met originally on Twitter, are being blocked at every turn by planners in their attempt to make a living at their chilli farm in Dartmoor, and as a result, they need your help as their business is under threat.
After my last post about how I made chorizos, as so many of you asked on Twitter and on here for an update on how my chorizos tasted, I thought I’d report back with my initial thoughts.
As you know if you’re a regular reader of my blog, one of my New Year’s Resolutions was to make chorizo and salami.
I know that I’m a little late to the party with this, but after seeing this on other people’s blogs, I thought it would be good for me to share my allotment based resolutions for the year, and also for me to look back in a year’s time to see how many have been achieved.
Hopefully, your New Year’s Resolution is the same as mine last year, and that you have decided to get an allotment and to grow more of your own fruit and vegetables.
Taking on a new plot can be daunting, especially if it has been left and not cultivated for a while by its previous occupants.
