If you’ve been reading my blog recently, you know that I was roped into entering the North East Chilli Jam Challenge.
Falling autumn leaves can become a nuisance, especially if you’re constantly raking them off the lawn, dredging the pond or picking up handfuls to prevent them choking up flower beds and borders. But rather than pulling your hair out in irritation and consigning them to your wheelie bin, turn leaves into leaf mulch – a wonderful compost that can be used as mulch or dug into the ground as a soil conditioner.
I was rather chuffed the other day to find out that my little blog has been ranked in the top ten gardening blogs by the news portal Wikio.
Since I’ve joined the Real Bread Campaign, I thought I’d share with you the books that fired my interest in making ‘real bread.’
I’ve always loved making my own bread, and found it very therapeutic, particularly after a hard day at work!
However, I heard about the ‘Real Bread Campaign’ and decided to put my money where my mouth is and join the campaign for better bread.
