After weeks of waiting, our allotment site finally got a hive this weekend.
Even better news is that I’m one of the five people to be chosen from our allotment site to be trained up as beekeepers.
I’ve been reading the blogs of @Jimmmy_Bee and @surreybeekeeper on Twitter to try and get some tips in advance of my first lesson tomorrow night.
All I’ve been able to tell so far is that even with the best preparation, bees will do whatever the hell they want!
