I submitted my application for the next series of Masterchef today. I have been saying for ages that I was going to do it, but something else always got in the way instead.

When I got an email confirming my entry, it looked like they’ve had over 50,000 applications already. If I am lucky enough to get through, I’ll let you know.

What’s certain though is that if I am lucky enough to get through to the heats, then my wife is going to have to be a guinea pig for my creations! I’ll also try and use the stuff that I have grown on the allotment as well.

If I can get my cooking anywhere near the standard of this year’s finalists, then I will be a very happy bunny indeed.
